I have a bright playroom with large windows on the main floor of my home.
The shelves and bins are filled with age appropriate toys to encourage imaginative play as well as promote fine and gross motor skills development.
There is a bookshelf filled with books ranging from board books, holiday themes, Dr. Seuss to beginner Chapter books.
There is also a locked cupboard filled with craft supplies, colouring books, board games and dayhome supplies such as diapers and wipes.
I like to rotate some of the bins and larger toys throughout the year to keep things fresh and interesting for the children. For example the kitchen centre may replace the work bench and toolbox, costumes take the place of the blocks etc.
